Our 4-day Serengeti safari with Morningstar Tours and Travel was truly unforgettable, and Jackson was the reason it was such an exceptional experience.
From the moment he picked us up at the airport until he dropped us off for our departure, everything was perfectly organized. Jackson was extremely punctual, professional, and reliable, ensuring that every part of the journey ran smoothly and stress-free.
During our four days in the Serengeti, it became clear that Jackson is an outstanding guide. His knowledge of wildlife, animal behavior, and the Serengeti ecosystem is simply incredible. He always seemed to know exactly where to be and when, allowing us to enjoy countless amazing sightings. Time and again, he spotted animals that we would never have seen ourselves and positioned the vehicle perfectly for the best views and photographs.
What impressed us most was his passion and dedication. He went above and beyond every day to make sure we had the best possible experience. His enthusiasm for the Serengeti is contagious, and he made every game drive exciting, educational, and memorable.

My husband and I booked a 4-day safari tour in the Serengeti with MorningStar. Our guide, Jackson, picked us up from the airport on the very first day and even gave us a small safari experience on the way to our hotel. We were impressed by both him and the safari from day one – and it only got better from there.
Jackson is an outstanding guide. He shared his extensive knowledge of wildlife with us, making every game drive both informative and fascinating. He also has an incredible eye for spotting animals from a distance. Thanks to him, we were able to see a huge variety of wildlife and learn a great deal about the Serengeti ecosystem.
What stood out most was his friendly, accommodating, and flexible nature. He was always willing to adapt the schedule to our wishes, for example when we wanted to go on a drive later in the evening. Jackson is a very relaxed, kind, and genuinely cool person to spend time with, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
Every day brought new experiences and unforgettable memories. We are truly grateful to have had Jackson as our guide and would happily book another safari with him anytime.

Smooth, efficient, and friendly
Very good experience with Morning Star. Joy helped answer lots of questions and tweaked our itinerary multiple times patiently before we finally decided on doing a mix of Naivasha, Amboseli, and Masai Mara over 7 days. We had John as our driver and tour guide for the entire trip, and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. John understood our preferences quickly and made suggestions and tweaks to cater to our needs. We got lucky with tons and tons of animal viewings and behaviors (wildebeest chasing away Cheetahs for e.g.!) and John also went out of his way to help and try to find rare animal sightings. Though we couldn't see the rare Rhino, it was amazing to see John go out of his way and put in almost 10 hours of driving trying to find this elusive creature! All in all a terrific trip!

I recently traveled solo with Morning Star Safari on a scouting trip through Kenya, with the goal of identifying new locations for the photographic safaris I lead professionally. I came back genuinely impressed on every level.
From the first exchange, Joysharon was sharp and responsive. Nothing fell through the cracks.
My guide and driver James was the real highlight. Exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the wildlife and ecosystems we were moving through. Traveling solo with a specific target list of species, I needed someone who understood what I was after, and James delivered. We ticked off an impressive range of animals across Buffalo Springs and Samburu National Parks, which genuinely surprised me with their diversity and the quality of sightings. A very different feel from the more well-known circuits, and well worth the detour.
We closed the trip with a night at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a great way to break the drive back and end on a high note with the Black and White rhinos. And when my flight was delayed, James made the most of it with a visit to Nairobi National Park, which turned out to be a worthwhile bonus stop.
As someone who scouts destinations professionally before bringing guests, I leave with full confidence recommending Morning Star Safari. I'll absolutely work with them again.

Overall, an incredible journey. I am still shocked at the moments I had and pictures I have. Would recommend this trip with this company and Augustine 10 out of 10 times.
